Water-Cooled Wall Gasification Technology is currently one of the most advanced clean coal gasification technologies in the world. It offers significant advantages such as high raw material utilization, low consumption, resource conservation, and environmental friendliness. The gasification process takes place under high-temperature and pressurized conditions. Pulverized coal, oxygen, and a small amount of steam are co-injected into the gasifier under pressure, where they undergo a series of physical and chemical processes—such as rapid heating, volatile matter removal, pyrolysis, combustion, and conversion—in an extremely short time. Due to the high temperature inside the gasifier and the presence of oxygen, carbon, volatile components, and some reaction products (such as H₂ and CO) primarily undergo combustion reactions. Once the oxygen is depleted, various carbon conversion reactions occur, marking the transition to the gasification reaction phase. The final product, a synthesis gas composed mainly of CO and H₂, exits the gasifier.
The successful application of water-cooled wall gasification technology in China has elevated the country’s coal gasification capabilities to a new level and presents promising prospects for further development. However, key components used in this technology have long relied on imported products. Our company has successfully localized the production of this series of products, developing HGP-S68/S85, HGC-S85, and HGL-15, among others. These products have already been applied in multiple gasifier projects with excellent performance results.
