Construction Commencement Celebration: Continuous Good Fortune

Recently, as accredited by the China Building Materials Federation, the project on the development and industrial preparation of low-carbon, green, and high-performance refractory materials for the cement industry, led by BEIJING JINYU TONGDA REFRACTORY TECHNOLOGIES LTD., has reached an overall international advanced level. Notably, the technology for the new high-iron magnesia-magnesia   spinel material, with independent intellectual property rights, has reached an international leading level.

This project, a key initiative of the BBMG Group, was led by BEIJING JINYU TONGDA REFRACTORY TECHNOLOGIES LTD., in collaboration with the University of Science and Technology Beijing, University of Science and Technology Liaoning, and Anhui Conch Group. By integrating the concept of a circular economy into the development of refractory materials, the project successfully developed a series of low-carbon, green, and high-performance refractory materials. These innovations effectively address the technical challenges posed by the increasing size of cement kilns and co-processing requirements in China, which demand higher performance from refractory materials. The project holds significant importance in promoting technological advancements in refractory materials, enhancing the longevity and functionality of large-scale cement kilns, and advancing the green and low-carbon development of the cement industry.

Currently, the project’s achievements have been widely applied by leading domestic enterprises such as CNBM Tianshan Materials, Conch Cement, and China Resources Building Materials Technology. Additionally, the project has successfully expanded into international markets, including Saudi Arabia, Belgium, and Egypt, yielding significant economic and social benefits. The project has secured 12 nationally authorized invention patents, 1 international patent, published 26 academic papers, led the development of 6 industry standards, and participated in the formulation of 4 national standards.

This will provide strong support for energy conservation and emission reduction, as well as quality improvement and efficiency enhancement in the high-temperature industry, contributing to the achievement of the national “Dual Carbon” goals.
