【Recommended use】Grate-Rotary Kiln Pellet System
Product Introduction
The grate-rotary kiln pellet technology is an advanced pellet production process that involves drying and preheating green pellets on a grate, roasting pellets in a rotary kiln, and cooling them in an annular cooler. This process maximizes the utilization of secondary energy, ensures a clean environment, produces high-quality pellets, and reduces energy consumption. It effectively lowers the coke ratio in blast furnaces, optimizes the furnace charge structure, enhances the effective utilization coefficient of the blast furnace, and delivers significant economic and environmental benefits.
The refractory configuration for the pellet rotary kiln is divided into two parts based on the temperature zones within the kiln: the low-temperature zone (TGM-1) and the high-temperature zone (TGM-3). To reduce the kiln shell temperature, a composite bonding approach is employed, incorporating lightweight precast bricks into the precast components and castables. By adopting a two-layer composite structure, the kiln shell temperature is reduced by 70°C–80°C compared to the pellet rotary kiln at Wuhan Iron and Steel, effectively protecting the kiln shell and anchor components, extending service life, minimizing heat loss, and conserving energy.
