Located in the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, BEIJING JINYU TONGDA REFRACTORY TECHNOLOGIES LTD. is  a wholly-owned subsidiary of BBMG Corporation.The company was established in 2006, formerly known as Beijing Haidian Tongda Castable Plant founded in 1981. It currently has a registered capital of RMB 285 million and five subsidiaries located across Beijing, Shanxi, Henan, Guizhou, and Shandong, with engineering service bases covering the entire country. In the field of new refractory materials, the company has established a comprehensive system encompassing basic research, engineering design, product development, intelligent manufacturing, and professional engineering services. It is one of the leading domestic providers of green high-temperature new material design, research and development,manufacturing,and services, distinguished by its large scale, extensive product range, and broad service coverage.

The company has been recognized as a “Scientific and Technological Reform Demonstration Enterprise” by the State Council and as a “Specialized, Refined, Differentiated, and Innovative” (SRDI) small and medium-sized enterprise by the Beijing municipal government. Two of its wholly owned subsidiaries are national-level SRDI “Little Giants.” The company and its two subsidiaries are all recognized as National High-Tech Enterprises. It owns several scientific and technological innovation platforms, including a sub-center of the National Enterprise Technology Center and the Engineering Technology Center for Chromium-Free Refractories in Cement Kilns under the Building Materials Industry. It also houses two CNAS-accredited laboratories (CNAS L3340 and CNAS L2741). With a first-class R&D team, the company has taken the lead in or participated in two sub-projects under the National Science and Technology Support Program during the 12th Five-Year Plan period and four sub-projects under the National Key R&D Program during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. A total of 22 research achievements have passed external appraisal, including 5 reaching an internationally leading level and 10 achieving an internationally advanced level. The company has led or participated in the drafting of over 50 standards and holds 94 authorized patents, including 43 invention patents. It has received 55 awards at or above the provincial or ministerial level (including industry-specific awards) and has been a pioneer in the industry in passing international system certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.

The company is equipped with domestically leading and internationally advanced integrated intelligent production lines for refractory materials, a domestically leading production line for bauxite-based homogeneous refractory raw materials, ultra-high temperature kilns imported from Germany, and Asia's largest-scale professional prefabrication platform for refractory materials. Currently, the company offers more than 200 types of green, energy-saving, and long-lifespan refractory products serving fundamental industries of the national economy such as building materials, metallurgy, energy, and environmental protection. The total annual production capacity reaches 255,000 tons.

 

Adhering to the principles of easy construction, lightweight, low thermal conductivity, high wear resistance, and extended service life, the company was responsible for  drafting the Technical Acceptance Specification for Supporting Refractories of Second-Generation New Dry-Process Cement. Its core technologies—such as chromium-free refractory solutions for high-temperature zones of new dry-process cement kilns, key technologies and simulation design for long-lifespan refractories used in kiln hoods and coal injection pipes—have been appraised by the China Building Materials Federation as reaching internationally leading/advanced levels. The manufacturing standards also reach internationally leading levels. These achievements were awarded the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Beijing Municipal Government and the Second Prize for National Building Materials Scientific and Technological Progress by the building materials industry. The project for integrated technology and industrialized manufacturing of refractory materials for grate-type waste incinerators—designed and developed by the company—successfully addressed issues such as long-term stable operation and durability of waste incinerators. This contributed to the development of resource-efficient cities, sustainable economic growth, and environmental protection, thereby supporting the construction of a beautiful China. The project was appraised by the China Building Materials Federation as reaching an internationally leading level and was awarded the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Beijing Municipal Government. Jointly developed with the University of Science and Technology Beijing, the next-generation refractory material for ceramic cups—plastic-phase bonded corundum-silicon carbide bricks—has been widely applied in large-scale blast furnaces of over 4000 m³ at enterprises such as Baosteel and Shandong Iron & Steel. Among them, the “plastic-phase bonded corundum composite brick” was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China as a key project under the National Science and Technology Achievements Promotion Plan. The company’s high-purity all-andalusite bricks, appraised by the Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province, represent a significant breakthrough in the research and application of andalusite-based refractories in China. Their key performance indicators have reached or even exceeded international advanced levels, filling the domestic gap in the production of all-andalusite refractory products.
