The company deregistered Beijing Tongda Green High-Temperature New Materials Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd.

The company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of BBMG Group and was renamed Beijing Jinyu Tongda Refractory Technologies Ltd.; the company’s Vietnam office was deregistered.

The Company was selected as a “Demonstration Enterprise for Scientific and Technological Reform” by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council; its wholly-owned subsidiary, YANGQUAN JINYU TONGDA HIGH TEMPERATURE TECHNOLOGIES CO. LTD., was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and successfully selected as a National-Level Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative “Little Giant” Enterprise; the Company was also selected as a “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” small and medium-sized enterprise by the Beijing Municipal Government.

The wholly-owned subsidiary Beijing Tiantan Tongda Refractory Engineering Technologies Co., Ltd. was renamed Beijing Tongda Refractory Engineering Technologies Co., Ltd.; BBMG Group transferred its 75% equity in Gongyi Tongda to the company, making Gongyi Tongda Zhongyuan Refractory Technologies Co., Ltd. a wholly-owned subsidiary; the company was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise, a status it has maintained to date; the company’s testing center has been accredited by CNAS.

BBMG Group established Yangquan Jinyu Tongda High Temperature Technologies Co., Ltd. in Yangquan City, Shanxi Province, which was managed by the company; the company established a branch in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province; the company was recognized as a National Enterprise Technology Center; the first phase of a 50,000-ton high-grade refractory products production line of the subsidiary Gongyi Tongda was completed and put into operation, further enhancing the product chain.

The company was renamed Tongda Refractory Technologies Co., Ltd.

The company received approval as one of the “First Batch of Beijing Engineering Research Centers in 2010”; through equity acquisition, the company acquired Gongyi Tongda Zhongyuan Refractory Materials Testing Center Co., Ltd. and Yangquan Jinyu Tongda High Temperature Technologies Co., Ltd., adding two wholly-owned subsidiaries; the first phase of a 150,000-ton/year homogenized synthetic refractory raw material project of the subsidiary Yangquan Tongda was completed and put into operation.

The company established a representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam; it took the lead in the industry by establishing an Academician Expert Workstation, with Zhong Xiangchong, the “Father of Refractory Materials” in China, a leading figure in the refractory materials industry, and an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, along with his team, joining the workstation.

On January 20, 2012, Liu Qi, then Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, visited the company to extend New Year greetings as part of the “Bringing Warmth” initiative and conducted an inspection tour of the company. On December 1, 2012, Guo Jinlong, then Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, visited the company to conduct research on how state-owned enterprises were studying and implementing the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress, and inspected the company.

The company established a branch in Zibo City, Shandong Province, thereby gradually forming a refractory material industry chain and service chain centered on the “Tongda Refractory System”; the company, in collaboration with Beijing Keda Fangxing High-Tech Co., Ltd., established Beijing Tongda Green High-Temperature New Materials Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd.

Yin Ruiyu, a renowned scholar in Chinese steel metallurgy, a strategic scientist, a refractory material industry expert, and one of the first Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with his team, joined the company’s Academician Expert Workstation.

BBMG Group strategically reorganized with Jidong Cement Group, and the company was placed under the management of Jinyu Jidong Cement; Henggu Refractory Materials Co., Ltd., previously under Jidong Cement, was transferred to the company for management.

The company merged with Tiantan Furniture Co., Ltd., establishing “Beijing Tiantan Co., Ltd. Tongda Refractory Technology Branch.”

Beijing Ceramics Factory and Beijing Tiantan Co., Ltd. jointly invested to establish Beijing Tiantan Tongda Refractory Engineering Technology Co., Ltd.

The company established a leading national refractory material technology research and development center, which was recognized as a Beijing Enterprise Technology Center; a 200,000-ton automated production line for unshaped refractory materials was put into use, marking the beginning of rapid development.

The company became independent from Tiantan Co., Ltd., and was registered as Beijing Tongda Refractory Technologies Ltd. It acquired Beijing Tiantan Tongda Refractory Engineering Technologies Co., Ltd. through an equity transfer agreement; the first postdoctoral research workstation in the refractory material industry was established.

BBMG Group acquired a 75% stake in Gongyi Zhongyuan Refractory Materials Co., Ltd., renaming it Gongyi Tongda Zhongyuan Refractory Technologies Co., Ltd., which was managed and operated by the company; the company introduced strategic investors through private equity financing and initiated the establishment of Beijing Tongda Refractory Technologies Co., Ltd.

Beijing Ceramics Factory Production Labor Service Cooperative was established.

It was reorganized as Beijing Ceramics Factory Labor Service Company

Beijing Haidian Tongda Castable Factory was founded.

Beijing Haidian Tongda Castable Factory underwent restructuring, and the first automated production line for unshaped refractory materials in China was completed and put into operation in Beijing.
