New Low Expansion Castable for Kiln Outlet

【Product brand】AS-A
【Recommended use】Kiln Outlet
Product Introduction
The New Low Expansion Castable for Kiln Outlet AS-A uses andalusite and silicon carbide as primary raw materials, with ultra-fine powder added to the matrix. The high reactivity of the ultra-fine powder enables the material to begin sintering at lower temperatures, enhancing the castable’s medium- and high-temperature performance, and ensuring excellent mechanical properties under medium- and high-temperature conditions.
Under high-temperature conditions, a SiO₂ film forms on the surface of the castable, sealing the surface pores of the refractory material and preventing penetration by harmful gases. The amorphous SiO₂ can also absorb alkali metal oxides, forming a high-viscosity glass phase that further enhances the refractory material’s resistance to erosion and penetration.
The product maintains high modulus of rupture at medium to high temperatures, effectively resisting abrasion from fly ash scouring.
