High Strength Burst Resistance and Erosion Resistance Castable

【Product brand】AS-20
【Recommended use】Kiln Outlet
Product Introduction
The AS-20 product uses andalusite and silicon carbide as primary raw materials, with ultra-fine powder incorporated to improve the matrix composition, promote material sintering, and enhance the high-temperature performance of the castable.
Under high-temperature conditions, a SiO₂ film forms on the surface of the castable, sealing the surface pores of the refractory material and preventing erosion by alkali and sulfur oxides.
The product maintains high modulus of rupture at medium to high temperatures, effectively resisting abrasion from fly ash scouring.
By adopting composite phase toughening technology, micro-cracks form within the castable, effectively releasing thermal stress during heating and cooling processes, thereby enhancing the castable’s thermal shock resistance.
During construction, simultaneous baking prevents cracking of the castable. Properly reserved expansion joints release stress caused by the castable’s expansion during use.
